To my website and thanks for visiting – My name is Cathy and I am a photographer and work from my beautiful studio in Leigh, Lancashire. I offer maternity photography, newborn photography, themed cakesmash photoshoots and family photography. I have been in business for over 10 years and in that time I have photographed hundreds of babies and families and have been published many times in magazines like Bump, Baby and Beyond.
ABOUT US
We booked a newborn shoot with a sibling as I really wanted photo’s of both of my children together as well as a few with our newborn on her own. The photography experience was so lovely. The studio is a very soothing and relaxing setup for both baby and family. Nothing is too much trouble and there are a lovely choice of sets and colour schemes. Everything was handled with pure professionalism and I knew throughout that my babies were in safe hands and being well looked after. We booked a separate session to view our photo’s, they were shown as a slide show to music which was so wonderful and very emotional and then all the photos were printed and mounted for us to view. They were so beautiful we were genuinely spoiled for choice. The photo’s were given to us in a beautiful carry case to protect them, which was a really nice touch. I would highly recommend Cathy brown photography to anyone looking for professional photographs. Thank you to Cathy and Michaela for making us some forever memories.
I cannot thank you enough for our experience! It was amazing from start to finish especially involving our fur baby which I know is not easy! The day was so relaxed and made us feel so comfortable. The photos are amazing and are memories that will last a life time! We will definitely be back for a splash and smash photoshoot for his 1st birthday. I would 100% recommend the newborn shoot to any new parents!
I went with Cathy after posting on Facebook for recommendations and the comments came flooding in recommending Cathy. Our experience from start to finish has been nothing but amazing; everything is so personal and you have such an input it really is a unique experience. I had a newborn shoot with Michaela and Cathy and I’m hoping they one day go into the childminding business as they were so great with my son, haha. I have received my prints which are gorgeous and my extra large artbox canvas today. I am so made up. I can’t wait to come back for my sons cake smash when he is 1 already! You will not regret going to these ladies they really are the best at what they do.
What a fantastic experience we had at our baby boys photoshoot. The studio and props used were perfect and the ladies could not have been more professional and welcoming. I was worried that our baby boy wouldn’t sleep or settle for them- but they were fantastic and so experienced in getting the perfect shots. We could not be happier with the photographs- something to be treasured. Thank you so much Cathy! Highly recommended.
What a fantastic experience with cathy, she made me feel so relaxed during the shoot and personally she’s a beautiful girl and you can feel the love and warmth coming from her I felt I had known her for years. 110% recommend and worth every penny, the photographs were amazing and presented beautifully
