NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN LEIGH

So you are here because you’re either pregnant or just had a baby, either way let us start by saying CONGRATULATIONS!!

Myself and Michaela have 4 girls between us and are newborn photographers in Leigh Lancashire. Newborns are awesome but they are not newborns for very long and to get the posing required, babies need to be photographed ideally in the first 21 days.

How it works

We book newborn photoshoots in from your 20 week scan – the date is flexible but you are in our diary…. Babies come early, some arrive late but we will always be as accommodating as possible.

This is a time that you can’t get back, that newborn look, their tiny features and little hands, how small they look in your arms, it’s all precious.

On the day of the newborn photoshoot we go with the flow and safety of the baby is paramount – We have invested in lots of training in handling and posing babies, so you can sit back and feel relaxed and enjoy the session.

Michaela was absolutely amazing!! We had our Newborn Shoot and our little tinker normally avoids sleep but slept almost all the way through – She’s a Baby Whisperer and every photo was absolutely amazing

When can I see my photos?

During your shoot we will arrange a viewing appointment. You will be invited back to the studio two weeks after your session to view your final gallery of approximately 20 beautifully enhanced and fully edited images. It’s at this point when you decide what you may want to purchase.

What shall I bring to the shoot?

Bring with you feeds, a dummy if they have one, and snacks for yourself. It’s a long shoot – but we allow plenty of time so that we don’t feel rushed.

How long is the session?

A Newborn photoshoot is 3 – 4 hours

Do you charge extra for siblings to be involved in the photoshoot?

No – We encourage all family members to be a part of the session

My baby is 6 weeks old already, have I missed the opportunity to get them photographed?

If your baby is older, don’t worry we can still get beautiful images but the older they are the harder it is to get baby settled and curled into stunning sleepy poses so we have created a Mini Session for babies upto 6 weeks old.
