It’s hard to believe a whole year has passed since your baby arrived. That tiny bundle has grown into a little person, full of character, curiosity and those irresistible smiles.
A cake smash session is a beautiful way to celebrate this milestone in a relaxed, playful and thoughtful way. Held at my Leigh studio, the session begins with a gentle cake smash, allowing your baby to explore at their own pace, before finishing with a simple splash session to capture even more joyful moments.
Everything is designed to feel fun without being overwhelming. I provide the styling, including a carefully chosen theme, balloons and bunting, along with bubbles, ducks and a soft towel… all you need to bring is the cake.
How it works
Birthday celebration sessions are a joyful way to mark your baby’s first year – a moment worth remembering long after the cake has been cleared away. These images become part of your family story, often rediscovered years later and smiled over again and again.
My themed cake smash sessions are thoughtfully styled and designed to feel fun without being overwhelming. With a curated range of themes to choose from, each session is kept simple, playful and beautifully photographed, allowing your baby’s personality to shine.

When can I see my photos?
Approximately one week after your session you will receive access to your online gallery with your final images (approx. 15).

Yes we can put you in touch with a recomended supplier
What is the best time to book a session?
Shoots are best planned for a time when your baby is most smiley – usually after nap time.
